Sweet. Since you mention the love/hate relationship with ECM, what artists/releases of theirs do you like? Even if you bristle at the proper spelling of Pat's name, I've got to imagine that you can at least appreciate his early albums and/or his wor…

Wow, thanks for the pointer to the U2. 20 bucks to get the deluxe versions of their 80s catalog? Might not be able to pass that up.

In that vein, both the Peter Seeger and Woody Guthrie Smithsonian Folkways box sets are $7.77. Great value - plus you can get the booklets from their website.
As for the $4 sale. This one kinda blows. Not much beyond that page is involve… -
Congratulations. Never really met either of my grandfathers, but wife still speaks of hers with great admiration.

@amclark2 - I could barely find anywhere to put the snow this time.
I have to admit, I'm surprised so many people are worried about the "safety" of gray/black market… -
I'll start off by saying that since the actions of the music industry have historically had little concern with what was right ethically or even legally, I have absolutely no qualms with anyone who downloads 10,000 albums to their iContraption and d…

@frogkopf - I was totally sold by your review "This is Dave Holland, so you know it's great!!" :P Well worth a buck.

This should serve as a warning to those who complain when Amie Street has dried up!

Craig - I really like it. I'm a big Black Keys fan, and really love the way they created a bluesy groove to feed the various rappers. While not as good as their own material, it would be great to see them explore this kind of collaboration eve more.…

Have to give this a listen. Pretty impressive sales considering she's only put out 2 other albums in the past 2 decades.Sounds like fun. There are at least a couple Linux geeks around here.
Humorous story - I was googling some file transfer options for Ubuntu and stumbled upon our very ownA bunch of Daytrotter sessions.I could have gotten it cheaper but didn't jump on the Preservation Hall disc until the deluxe one hit $10. Listening to the samples, well worth it. Especially considering the 50% off sale, etc.Whoa, not even sure he deserves to be subjected to the /b/tards.I am hoping that I'll get some sort of disloyalty offer to give it another go. The new annual plans are worthwhile with the free nps they throw in, but I'm not willing to make that kind of commitment at this point.I've used them a few times. With the freebies they offer in the beginning it comes out to about the same per track as my grandfathered account - although regularly it would be more. So used them for a few 12+ track albums that didn't get the discoun…Not surprising that it was that nitwit (hi Rayray, I know your ego will draw you over here). That guy must be one of the most sheltered web surfers out there because he still seems to think that anything said over yonder compares to the vitriol spew…Another album that was accidentally removed from my SFL. Loved the freebie (track 2) and kept debating about picking up the whole thing. I guess when I get my disloyalty offer...I think the 12 year old who started it was using autotune. There were so many WTF moments. Jennifer Hudson looked pissed, like they didn't tell her she was singing next to a Pussycat Doll. I made my wife watch it, too.
Go to the website …I think he meant to direct you here.Every time her picture appears the "word" doncha-know gets stuck in my head for hours.Nothing wrong here. There really does seem to be some contingent of "new users" that have taken up the torch carried by the Persecution Complex Duo. He pointlessly attacked a group of users that included you after you had already helped out the OP. …Humorously I just realized that Buble was labeled jazz in my collection...Damn, I meant to grab that one for the wife. I skipped his last album as the samples did nothing for me, but there's a number of excellent tunes on his previous ones.
Personally I would call Buble vocal pop, but sometimes that gets lumpe…
