Yesterday saw consumption of some margaritas made with this tequila:
Also, these two wines:
The Mitravelas Red On Black agioritiko is really tasty. I spent 3 years in Greece, and missed this fine red wine grape from Nemea in the Peloponnese, and lucked out finding this great, not-pricy example.
Just finished the taxes (no procrastinator, I) so I haven't been drinking, and since it wasn't dreadful I will pass on seconding the Liquid Plumr, but it being a bit late I'll forgo anything more pleasant for now. Next weekend though I'm gonna get hammered - got an unopened bottle of Maker's Mark in the cabinet.
thom, I got into it a few years back when I was going to make a sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving from a recipe in a Country Inns cookbook calling for bourbon - went to the liquor store looking for a good tasting bourbon. The 4 oz. the recipe called for seemed like a lot, but what do I know - turned out to be a pie you could actually get a buzz from, but it tasted good. So did the rest of the bottle. Smooooothh.
Since we're on the subject, I just discovered 46 from Maker's Mark last week, name deriving from the alcohol content - very nice indeed, and still smooth.
I use a little one cup coffee maker to make coffee in the morning, and hot water for tea in the afternoon. But I forgot to take out the coffee grounds before making the tea. And it's just a few minutes before I step out for a meeting. So I'm drinking an atrocious cup of coftea.
A good bottle of Ridgeway, which is a fine dark beer from a small brewery from just outside London from a village called Tring. Mrs Lowlife was at a spa that way and saw the shop and thought of me.

As well as a lovely, but forgotten CabSav from Chile.
Been trying to clean out my wine "collection" as too much has been sitting around for too long. Time for a fresh start.
Some expensive but excellent loose-leaf Darjeeling tea.
This morning:
A bit saltier than I remember this beer being....
