@GP: Not yet, but soon. There's a factory tour, which is supposed to be great, but would have been too much for the eight-year old. Nevertheless, the little showroom was more than entertaining enough.
Streaming the new Joe Frawley album . . . Sounds great, so far . . .
"Joe Frawley has a new album, Satyrinae. Edit: This is more ambient piano, less a "sound collage" than his previous albums. It reminds me a bit of Goldmund."

"...we believe that what is happening to us has already happened before, as though the present time were splitting in two, breaking in its own midst into two parts: an immediate reality, plus a ghost of that reality.... But the ghost soon wavers.... One would like to grasp it.... It passes again and again behind our eyes, diaphanous butterfly or dancing will-o'-the-wisp that toys with us.... Ten seconds later, it has all fled forever."--

Taylor Taylor - Right Here
Stumbled across this searching for Taylor Ho Bynum, and gave it a listen on a whim because she's local. Not really my genre but she has a nice voice.
@BT, I have enjoyed past THB albums, so this one was a automatic at that price. Probably not to everyone's taste, but for me there is something contemplative about this music. It is less "out there" than I was expecting, actually. It has also become apparent that anything with Mary Halvorson is going to be a bit of a thrill ride!
This is nice. And each album has a free track, here, enough to make a nice single album if (like me) you don't want to buy 12 cds of harmonium improvisation.

Passenger-Whispers
Weird; I was listening to 1977-05-25 yesterday; I just realized they were both from Virginia.
As recommended by some guy on the Internet a couple weeks ago

The recent Blue Note sale reminded me that I have a guvera-ton of Blue Note already that hasn't gotten enough attention.
Sounds good to me. And $3.96 at Amazon. Might just get it. Thanks, Doofy.
