Decided to join you, @cafreema Am going to have to give this a few more listens, but my first reaction is that maybe I am kind of over EITS, much as I loved some of their earlier albums. The amazon reviews are entertaining.
@Germanprof I'll have to check those reviews out. I wouldn't say I'm over EITS (I'm seeing them this fall and CAN'T WAIT), but the shorter lengths of the songs here don't work as well for me. Post rock songs are long because that's what it takes to properly build the tension and then release. With these songs there just isn't any tension.
@cafreema I'd probably still go see them live - the one time I did was excellent. I agree about the song length though; some of these pieces are not particularly bad, just not particularly unusual or engaging either.

Sunflower Bean - Human Ceremony
Some fun guitar based indie pop.

Frankie Cosmos - Next Thing
Kevin Kline's daughter makes some fun music. Hopefully Michael Palin doesn't run her over with a steamroller.

I don't have any Prince, so mournful music will have to do.
Don't worry. I've got it covered for you, GP.
The State of Minnesota has basically shut down at this point.

Philippe Petit - You Only Live Ice
Releases May 20.
@brighternow, a new one for your Petit thread.
If I had my vinyl digitized I'd be listening to 1999 but this will do fine.
