Igloo Records
On the eMusic Beta thread, mention was made of Igloo Records. It was definitely on the "old eMusic." One album in particular I recommend is:
Antoine Pierre - "Urbex"
My write-up: https://www.birdistheworm.com/this-is-jazz-today-antoine-pierre-avi-darash-jonathan-orland-and-more/
On eMusic: https://www.emusic.com/album/1429234/Antoine-Pierre/Urbex
Other albums of interest:
Pretty much any release by Pascal Schumacher
Igor Gehenot - "Road Story"
L'ame des Poets - "Elle est à toi, cette chanson"
Emmanuel Baily – "Night Stork"
Toine Thys Trio – "Grizzly"
Charles Loos, Steve Houben, & Ali Ryerson – "Vagabondages"
The Sidewinders – A Little Busy
That was a quick rundown.
There's some variations of the Igloo imprint... sort of how Origin Arts and Origin Records, OA2 Records, Origin Classical, etc.
Anyways, I didn't want to cause the eMusic Beta thread to go into jazz rec detours, so I posted this thread.
Enjoy.
