Should I even care?

I got a response from emusic customer service, doesn't matter specifically for what, but it had to do with the different plans they've got. The customer service person stated that I'd be better off with the current plan I had (13 bucks gets me 25) instead of switching up to "16 bucks gets me 36" because the plan I'm on has a thirty day rollover aspect. Now, this is the plan they signed me up for when I rejoined. It's something like .50/dl. The next one up is better (maybe .45/dl), effectively gives me fifty percent more dls for only a third more on my monthly charge; them's good pot odds, as they say in poker. Am I missing something about this rollover thing? I struggle just to hold onto some dls after the refresh date in case I discover something in the middle of the month that I absolutely have to have right this damn minute. I can't imagine ever needing to hold them for longer than thirty days. I think I'm gonna upgrade, but I figured I'd ask here first if maybe something special about the rollovers was eluding me. Is there?

  • Only if you have a problem using your nps.

I like you rarely have any last beyond refresh day so the rollovers would be worthless to me.

  • No rollovers needed here. I bought a few too many bonus packs last year.

Sometimes I find it annoying to plan out d/ls to get the exact amount and wouldn't mind being able to carry a few over for the next month. But it's not that big of a deal - and things usually work out one way or another.
  • The one and only time I could have done with rollovers was a couple of years back when i got my refresh date mixed up (I was on holiday with no access to a computer).
