Bang on a Can All-stars - "Brian Eno: Music for Airports (Live)"
A collective of New York jazz musicians and composers dedicated to performing contemporary music, they take on the challenge of a live performance of Brian Eno's ambient classic "Music for Airports". Very fun and very cool album. Also, only four track cost on emusic.
I love Eno's original, and mostly got this out of curiosity. I'm not disappointed. Their take on it definitely keeps to the original, but there's enough of a difference both from their own artistic embellishments and just from the nature of it being a live performance that it doesn't sound like a clone of Eno's work.
