What is your top 6 np album?
I refresh tomorrow and with the addition of the 5 Valentine's freebies, I'll end up with 6 nps left after I get the albums I've marked for death this time around.
Accordingly, I scanned through the 6 track albums and saw some that interested me, but nothing that grabbed me by the throat and spit in my eye. So, I throw it out to you: What 6 np album should I get? Don't worry about whether you think I'll like it, just tell me what you think is the best one.
Thanks!
Craig

Comments
Devotchka - Curse Your Little Heart
Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul
Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die
NEU! - NEU! 75
All excellent choices, but these 3 will be my suggestions:
MGMT - Time to Pretend
Stars - Sad Robots
Stars - A Lot Of Little Lies For The Sake Of One Big Truth
- This reminds me how lucky we are in Europe.
On your first post amclark, you mention a review, but the link is to the eMu album page. Am I missing something?

John Hollenbeck - Eternal Interlude (listen on lala)
A nice mainstream jazz record (ignoring the alt take tr 7):
Pepper Adams - The Adams Effect
Or you could go with something more contemporary...
Matthew Halsall "Sending My Love" (which I review on another musers thread)... Five Credits.

Plus with your remaining DL, get this...
Tommy Smith and The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra - "Rhapsody in Blue".

... An hour of great music for one dl.
Yusef Lateef, Other Sounds
Red Garland, All Kinds of Weather
...Are just my most recent jazz "6-packs." The Ornette and Monk reccs are hard to top if they're not already in your jazz kit.
I have tried, lord knows, but just can't figure it out...why "np's"?
The emusic caption says "Two parts Afropop, two parts indie rock." It's sticks more to traditional Kenyan Benga music with great guitar interplay and nice jamming. Some of the guitar reminds me of Nels Cline work with Wilco.
I already have Brilliant Corners, though.
As for nps. That's a brittlebloodism. Stands for nitpickeys.
