Defective Tracks
I thought a thread to collect info about defective tracks from various stores would be useful.
Over at Amie Street I encountered 2 problems recently:
- "Go do" track 1 from Jonsi's Go
- "Just To Be Alive" track 13 on Martin Sexton's Sugarcoating (Deluxe Edition) - most likely bad on the regular edition, too.
I just confirmed that the Jonsi track has been fixed and am reporting the other one.

Jonsi - Fixed
Roman Candle, track 1 from Elliott Smith's album of the same name. Still not fixed.
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain: LA's Desert Origins: Numerous tracks. Album was pulled and they are trying to replace.
Craig
Blue Rodeo, Track 7, disc 2 of The Things We Left Behind ("And When You Wake Up") is defective. Rest of the album is fine. Reported it to Amie and they acknowledged the defect but haven't pulled the track or the album.
Brenda Kahn, Track 3 of Goldfish Don't Talk Back ("Eggs on Drugs") is actually identical to Track 4, which is the title track. In other words, the real Track 3 is missing. I've reported this to Amie two or three times and they have yet to respond (which is unusual because they're usually pretty quick).
Gabriela's "El Viaje" Track #1. It's defective. It's ends about ten seconds early. Just cuts off. I told emusic about it. I even included a link to Gabriela's own website which has the entire version streaming. I even pointed out that my iTunes dl shows the same amount of track time that emusic lists it at. I mentioned that I tried re-downloading it and had the same problem. Emusic responded that there was nothing wrong with it. Inexplicable. Fuck 'em. Maybe I'll write a review and put in all caps that it's busted. That might be fun.
EDIT: Fixed.
