  • The original is the Columbia Masterworks "Music of Our Time" album that,
    I guess, you're listening to right now? It was recorded in the 30th Street Studios.

    OK, I see that there's a "Carnegie Hall" re-release of the original. That's a bit confusing.
  • This is the original release (link to discogs). I have digital and vinyl of the remastered version. I did listen to it yesterday morning, followed by the Bang on a Can version.

  • Yup, that's the Columbia Masterworks "Music of Our Time" original that David Behrman was responsible for. That's the one that I grew up with beginning in the late 60s - not only listening to,
    but performing solo versions of back then.
  • A new version based around cello overdubs. Not on Bandcamp AFAIK - is on evil Spotify and an extract here. Can be bought from Presto Classical in the UK. It's split into 11 sections. Sounds good so far.
