@thom "Still don't get the name of this band."
As long as Alison Sudol is on the cover the the album, I am fine with her frenzy.
[edit] According to wikipedia: "Her artist name, "A Fine Frenzy", is taken from a verse in William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theseus, Act 5, Scene 1: "The poet's eye, in a fine frenzy rolling, doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven")."[/img]

Still don't get the name of this band.
Can it be September forever?

Of the choir albums (A New Perspective and Now!), this stands out as an oddity, though Hill's solos are at their bluesiest.
guvera, of course.
Not Guvera, but so, so good.

All hail our Guvera Overlords!
Blue Note class is in session, possibly for some time to come.
What a stunning debut.
So much to be excited by, and yet so much missed...
By odd coincidence this Capitol album showed up in the rotation but is not from guvera.
Really, really, really good and interesting. (On Guvera in the promo as well)
Screw you, KMFDM (and stop referencing yourselves in the songs).
Moody, swinging, deeply brassy without be overwhelming.
