Recommitment to Emusers

edited October 2010 in General
I've been posting back on the emu board again, sometimes going there first before here. Not sure I'm gonna keep doing it. I think I'm gonna try to keep it here, with only a copy and paste onto an emu thread for recs and the like.

This board will never grow too populous, but it's a fun joint to hand out at.

  • Not really sure where I was going with that, but I'll let it stand. Maybe the shape of things now and to come on the emu board gave me a renewed appreciation of this site.

When's the date? Need to get it on my calendar!

  • Sweet! To be honest, I simply enjoy the discussions over here much more (not to mention that you don't have to maintain an account or deal with their crappy software to join in).

I'm trying to get back on the musical discussion kick. Last month's bonanza got me focused way too much on savings, etc. You need a break after overloading your library to get back into listening mode!
  • i dig both sites. i need to spend more time here than i have been, tho.
  • You unfaithful wretch! I knew you loved them better. You went to them first? How could you!

No, seriously, I did kinda get where you were going with this. I read the eMu boards for quite a while before giving up on them. It was a daily routine to get the freebie of the day and have a look at the first page of discussions, and read a few. I can't really say when I stopped bothering to look at the discussions page. Probablt after a solid month of seeing it was just complaint threads. Now I just get the daily and go.
A lot of it is because I don't subscribe any more.

I'll always hold a special place in my heart for eMusic - after all, it was what brought us together, dear jonahpwll! winky
  • I still maintain a particular connection to the emu boards, because the people there are all connected to the same music source. I like that advocacy there is just a click away for any reader.
