Liminoid/Lifeforms by Aidan Baker. Amazing stuff (and free on Guvera).
Above all else, Liminoid/Lifeforms is a definitive statement. Baker clearly states his objective with the first few notes of Liminoid Part I, never wavering from his desire to capture the elements of classical and romantic composition with modern techniques. The result is an album that is warm; thick with texture and sonic craftsmanship. 30th Anniversary Edition of Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan, 2 disc CD set -
basically only recced for SRV fanatics. So it's what, my third CD copy of Texas Flood? So, what the heck. The early one, the re-master with bonus tracks, and now this one just to get the second disc with the live set from Ripley Hall, 1983 - it was only $11.99 I think so not a massive ripoff. However I don't think the live disc is that superb. As an SRV fanatic I find it interesting, but the set is a little ragged in tiny spots, and there's better live Stevie out there - Carnegie Hall, Montreaux, or In The Beginning all rate ahead of this one. Just my two cents.

Update - I'm really liking this, not sure how I missed it a year ago. If you like Mark Knopfler's post Dire Straits recordings you will like this. No coincidence, as he produced the album in his own studio. Gentle rock/country with Irish folk influences. (Thinking of another thread - how do you tag that!!)
Went with this after the Metheny discussion last week, 'cause I like live jazz albums. From the same era and some the same material as "As Falls Wichita"
Had that on LP from a while back, listened to that quite a bit since I grabbed from Guvera, hearing if for the first time in a while. "The Fields, the Sky" is my favorite on that. Gp, you liked "Ozark" a lot, check that track out.
Wish I could share the love but I've been immensely enjoying Supersonic Parachute, the outcome from the Whitney and Andrew Record a Pop Album Together Kickstarter campaign last year. Andrew Boscardin is the man behind Zubatto Syndicate, the jazz outfit that stormed eMusers a couple of years back.
Glad someone posted the Hem. I haven't made it through it all the way, but so far prefer the opening two tracks from their upcoming album that come with the free download. I think I was thrown off by the band name drops to think that its lead singer would be male when that doesn't seem to be the case.

Miasmah / Soundcloud - Soon to be released: B/B/S/ - Brick Mask - "Berlin might be known as the home of modernist minimal techno, but beneath the teutonic shuffle of Berghain and the Panorama Bar there's something darker happening in the continental artistic hotbed. Here is where Miasmah boss Erik Skodvin (Svarte Greiner) came in contact with experimental don Andrea Belfi and drone metal stalwart Aidan Baker (of Nadja), and before long they were holed up in a studio, distilling their influences into one dense cloud of instrumental bleakness.
With Skodvin manning the guitar, Belfi on percussion and Baker on bass and guitar, we have the makings of a traditional band, but the result is anything but. 'Brick Mask' is the sound of each artist pushing each other past their regular comfort zones; Skodvin's signature bowed guitar sounds perfectly matched against Baker's rolling basses and Belfi's unpredictable, collapsing percussion. The best comparison might be Supersilent, but where the Norwegian super group hinge their sound on the fringes of jazz, 'B/B/S/' is rooted in metal, and Baker's doom expertise is occasionally allowed to reveal itself as his distorted guitar and bass tones erupt over the wrangled clatter of his two companions. Dark and gleefully theatrical, 'Brick Mask' is an album that revels in its influences and never gets bogged down in the past, and in that never ceases to be captivating."
