Most certainly. One of my fun trivia questions is "What links Pete Townshend, The Sex Pistols, Hawkwind and Vera Lynn?" The answer is that they all played one of Pete's anti drugs charity concerts down the road from me at Crystal Palace. Anti drugs mind you!!
I've found a post for 18th February 2008 -see here. What surprises me is that few of the users then are still around, the main exceptions being Plong42, Confused and, of course, Eythian, our host. I joined around 2010? Where are they now?
I joined in December 2010. But if you had asked me without me looking it up I would have said "a few years ago". I still remember the initial feeling of not being sure if I was allowed to post, with all these knowledgeable people around.
BTW, I love the Betsy Ross flag, I love USA, and I fly my flag proudly. My entire patio area is a tribute to my country. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Yes, still around this forum, Plong42, joined eMusic in 2008 when Hurricane Katrina hit, and got a warm welcome despite my ignorance.
