I agree GP that things seem to be slower than during the last part of the Beta trial. Possibly populating everyone's My Music and SFL into Wish List is taking up all the 'power'?

I didn't get an email either Doofy. It took quite a long time to get my music populated - a number of hours. Even so, one or two albums are not complete from first glance, so the process may still have been going on when i left to go out a few hours…

to answer my own question - yes the quality is better. One of the first albums I downloaded from emusic was Youssou N'Dour's Immigres. That was just over 200Kbps, now it is standard 320Kbps. Probably means lots of redownloads over the next few weeks…

A query - has anyone re-downloaded anything from emusic today that they originally downloaded years ago. I am just wondering if the quality is different... I'll probably try myself anyway to check it out>

Came back almost an hour or so ago. My Music is gradually populating, although not in the right order, but that is not a problem. Interestingly though, with the Beta it was in date order. I've even downloaded an album so that is working again.

Yes, down for me too. I suppose it'll come back when the USA wakes up, around lunchtime when I go out to a meeting all afternoon! That's Life... wouldn't that make a good song title?

Just discovered the Igloo label on the new site. I don't remember coming across them before - it is mainly Belgian jazz. I certainly need to explore further. I'm sure Johanpwll will know them. For information try in Emusic Beta Comment by greg May 2017

All I have in My Music are albums I have downloaded as part of the Beta trial. I do note however that prices in the UK have stayed at 42p per track, not the increased 49p during the Beta trial. That's good and probably explains why it was not announ…

Both sites are down here at the moment, not unexpected, given that 7.30 am here is 2.30 am EST. My hope is that recent releases that are on the old site but not the new will be available to all.

Quite a few recent releases from ECM on the Beta site compared with the old site, which is great, but the back catalogue is only 267 albums compared to 526 on the old site, not so good! Maybe given time, it'll increase.....

UK prices on the Beta site have returned to 42p per track. The Conspiracy Theory in me thinks this is because nobody thought to change the Euro price of 0.49 Euros to UK£ price, or maybe it was even based upon a $ price??

Just had a reply from emusic about credit expiry dates. It looks like my current month's credits are not due to expire until the following month. If so that is great news and takes the pressure off from spending them!

Yes, I got the impression at the end of last week that the transfer was only a few days away at the most. Now it seems to be two weeks away. I don't want to loose credit when I can't download what I'd like. It does seem to have taken a step backward…

I am not even able to download at the moment! Not sure what is going on. At least my overall balance has not reduced.
