Totally appropriate, and not unprecedented.
I've actually been getting emails from Martin, and I check out the music. That birdistheworm email is the correct one. The thing is, the inbox is such an avalanche of music, I never respond to emails. So, sometimes people may get the feeling like the my inbox isn't the right place. You can let him know he's on my list of labels to check out, and his emails are exactly what I need.

Oh this is great timing. I just moved into a new place, and that means unpacking all the CDs and remembering what I have. Back when I first signed up with eMusic (2009?), I used to burn the music onto CDs and print out artwork and everything.…I have a domain for BitW. I'm currently talking to Dreamhost about expanding things with additional sites. Lemme see if I can't fold the backup into those plans, so that if things go awry on your end (and we'll run with a scenario like you ge…They can't call it the 100 Best Albums if they don't include all genres.
