Totally appropriate, and not unprecedented.
I've actually been getting emails from Martin, and I check out the music. That birdistheworm email is the correct one. The thing is, the inbox is such an avalanche of music, I never respond to emails. So, sometimes people may get the feeling like the my inbox isn't the right place. You can let him know he's on my list of labels to check out, and his emails are exactly what I need.
Cheers,
Dave

Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I'm really surprised by how often I put together the retail links on my site's write-ups and discover the album isn't for sale on eMusic. I mean, it's almost never these days. Anecdotal, yes, but conside…

Ohhhhh. Well, shit, eMusic is awful.
I mean, that Rotem Sivan "Antidote" is a really good album, but, yeah, that's a real poor new release section. Embarrassing, actually.

From your pic, it appears that Posi-Tone Records has made a return. That Jon Davis is definitely a new release... I just listened to the promo not that long ago… -

Well, that is the end of eMusic for me.

Actually, I was only able to make it through about 30 seconds of that podcast before I had to shut it off... it was destroying the room hygge. I hit the play button on some Andreas Soderstrom instead... totes hygge.

I'm confused (again). Why is this a thing? I've always searched by label on emusic.

I don't understand. Are eMusic members compiling lists of missing labels for eMusic? Isn't that something the company should be doing?

Don't know who said it, where they said it, and if it was more than one person saying it, but I agree with the supposition that emusic moved their comment boards over to Reddit so that service complaints were separated from the site itself. I'm sure…It's pretty common these days that when I write about an album, it's not being retailed on eMusic. That didn't used to be the case.
