Totally appropriate, and not unprecedented.
I've actually been getting emails from Martin, and I check out the music. That birdistheworm email is the correct one. The thing is, the inbox is such an avalanche of music, I never respond to emails. So, sometimes people may get the feeling like the my inbox isn't the right place. You can let him know he's on my list of labels to check out, and his emails are exactly what I need.
Cheers,
Dave

I'll be at the Chicago Jazz Festival, covering it for my site.
Not sure if any of the emusers crew will be there, but I figured I should say something.
Cheers.

@Brighternow I gave that "Go Seigen" Nonsemble album a listen. There are moments on it I really like, but too many moments that shattered my enjoyment.

Here's a post I made originally over at the eMusic forum right when I'd discovered that Soderstrom had released a new album that very day. I've modified the post to account for, y'know, passing of time and shit.

Totally down with that comparison. Definitely had a passionless determination for violence about her.

Who is "the Imp"?
Y'know, these last couple episodes... nothing about them was bad, per se, but, also, they seemed more in-between or set-up-ish. I wouldn't mind any of that if GoT had 15-20 episodes per season, but when it's only 10 eps… -

Based on unscientific observations, but I'm really noticing how less often albums I recommend on my This Is Jazz Today columns are appearing on eMusic. Seems like less than 50% are actually retailing on eMu.
