Totally appropriate, and not unprecedented.
I've actually been getting emails from Martin, and I check out the music. That birdistheworm email is the correct one. The thing is, the inbox is such an avalanche of music, I never respond to emails. So, sometimes people may get the feeling like the my inbox isn't the right place. You can let him know he's on my list of labels to check out, and his emails are exactly what I need.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks everyone. We'll see how things go. I'm really leaning towards doing some sort of crowdfunding campaign and see if I can't develop a very low price point to where people grab it spontaneously in a what-the-hell-it-only-costs-[amount] impulse…

Been a long while since I listened to that album. At least, I think that's the Chemical Brothers album that I grew to enjoy. Does it have a nifty guest spot by Beth … -
I wound up writing a brief recommendation of the above album by Talmest. Will probably go up on my site this week.

So, now we have this in addition to BN(?) buying a car from Marilyn Mazur. I feel like we should have a separate thread for this... "Anecdotal brushes with obscure music celebrity."

Okay, yeah, this may really be pretty bad. I still haven't heard anything.Huh. I haven't heard anything yet and I'm not sure how much I should be reading into all the comments I'm seeing on Twitter, but maybe it's much worse than the vague "scaled back some parts" originally sounded.

I like the new Wasilewski just fine, but it definitely lacks the tight, subtle electricity of January & Faithful.

Andrea Keller - "Wave Rider"Hm, that Erdmann/Rohrer isn't quite what I remembered. Wondering now if I have it confused with another album. That happens. I may be thinking of an Andy Emler release on La Buisonne. Will look into that.
