Thanks for your comments and totally understand what it’s like to be so busy! Really glad that emusers is here for the long term. I likewise listen to many of your tips and often for similar reasons. That is, to my mind, what makes this group so great to belong to.

Came across this album and wasn't expecting much but this 1967 "Index" s/t album turned out to be one of the best Psych/Garage albums that I've heard for a long time.

1Talk about bizarre! Did my biannual check on eMusic, for old times sake.
You wouldn't believe it but amongst all the rubbish they have 7 of the top Kate Bush albums!!!
Go figure!!!
in What Are You Listening to (23) Skidoo? Comment by peterfrederics April 2023Most obscure of the obscure is this album "Chasing Rainbows" by Stoney and Jagged Edge.
A sensational heavy psych/hard rock album with loads of distorted guitar, fuzz and elements of Jimi H.

"Sleeping In Traffic Pt 2" by Beardfish.
Rated No. 3 for 2008 by ProgArchives and well worthy of that.

This is what i really like about these discussions that you get introduced to bands that you've never heard of but really grow to like.
So thanks @rostasi<…"The North Star Grassman and the Ravens" by Sandy Denny. Her 1971 album made not long after she left Fairport Convention. Amongst the best if not the best British folksingers of the era. Such a shame that she died so young.
in Favourite Rock Albums from the late 60s and early 70s Comment by peterfrederics March 2023Came across this relatively unknown 2013 album on bandcamp, "Unrecorded Beam" by Billy Bottle & The Multiple, totally by chance. It is a combination of Contemporary Jazz, Progressive Rock and Canterbury Scene with a hint of the 1970s.
