Thanks for your comments and totally understand what it’s like to be so busy! Really glad that emusers is here for the long term. I likewise listen to many of your tips and often for similar reasons. That is, to my mind, what makes this group so great to belong to.

RPWL is a top rank German Prog Rock band. This Live album is one of Progarchives top rated albums for 2009.

Not really good at this genre but why not try "Miles Away" by The Last Electro-Acoustic Space Jazz & Percussion Ensemble and "Vision Volume 3: Vision Festival 2003" by Various Artists.
Really liked the "In the Fishtank" series and Mot…Vale Ric.
"Just What I Needed" and "Heartbreak City" by Ric and The Cars from their appearance at the Live Aid Concert. Probably the best value album still available on eMusic.

I discovered Porcupine Tree on eMusic and they fast became my favourite modern Prog Rock band. Ended up downloading 19 of their albums from eMusic from 2008 onwards and another 9 from elsewhere!
Mysteriously, after an absence of around 5 …Kaleidoscope (also known as Fairfield Parlour) albums "White Faced Lady", "From Home to Home" and "Please Listen to the Recordings - The BBC Sessions Recordings" all recorded from around 1970.

Not really my cup of tea but if you're in to Melodic Death Metal then "Slaughter of the Soul" by At the Gates is regarded as one of the top albums of the genre. All Music Guide gives it its top rating of 5 stars whilst the Discogs rating is 4.58 out…And to my thinking, the best Woodstock performance - I'm Going Home by Ten Years After featuring the excellent guitar of Alvin Lee.
