  • Ah great, now every time I start downloading a track, the site logs me out. To get the next track, I have to revisit the site, sign back in, search for the album, click, click, click, wait, repeat. What a mess this has become. I'm getting to the poi…

  • Six turned into four this morning, which turned into three because track 5 "It Doesn't Mean A Thing" on the new Airborne Toxic Event album is broken. Tried downloading it twice. I should've used the six last night when I saw them. Funny how quickly …

  • 6 new ones this morning. None on the new channels (yet).

  • Some new channels appeared today - Best Buy, EA Games, and PacSun - but no new credits just yet. Nice to see some new advertisers on board for July.

  • I had an idea to float by our Guvera friend(s), as I've gotten more into using playlists due to the non-functional back button issue. It would really be a useful feature if I could drag tracks onto my playlists on the left hand side, much like we ca…

  • Maintenance in progress - longer than 30 minutes for sure :) I was excited to get started on the John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapt…

  • I've gotta agree with CaptainWrong - first listen was kinda meh, but the more I listen, the more I appreciate how great this new album is. Definitely a return to form. I was not a fan of Hello Nasty or To The 5 Boroughs.

  • Wow, I feel like I waited all month for this and then forgot my wallet. I need to plan ahead so I know what to grab. At least Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here is finally available again.

  • But they didn't return bearing gifts... maybe they are being wrapped for the morning.

  • I thought we might get a few end of the month stray downloads, but nothing yet for me (or my wife). I am also down to just two channels right now.

  • Thanks for the clarification. iTunes seems to be more compatible with today's update. But at least I'll know for next time if the issue crops up again.

  • Woah - float something out there and receive! iTunes update 10.2 released this afternoon fixed the issue. I guess it was an iTunes bug or incompatibility that is now fixed.

I really wish I had the money for a new iPad or two... just sayi…

  • @elwoodicious
Thanks for the recommendation. I saw Home Sharing, but wasn't sure what it is or does. I'll look into it more.

  • Question - I got a new MacBook Pro late last week, and I've shared my iTunes Library from my old computer so I can listen to music on the new laptop while I work on moving all my files over. However, nothing I have downloaded from Guvera will stream…

  • Be sure to check again - I got even more credits this afternoon (in addition to the ones last night and this morning).

  • It's certainly an interesting method to discover new music. I'm a highly visual person and appreciate the exploratory nature of Hitlantis. Two of the bigger drawbacks (for me, anyway) is that 1) it's a Flash site; and 2) the creators are from Helsin…

  • Any of you see this site before? It's very cool with a lot of potential. There is a link at the bottom of the homepage to view the site without registering.

  • 2 more new credits again tonight. Two days in a row! I may just complete Quadrophenia quicker than I thought I would.

  • Has anyone here downloaded John Coltrane's "Ascension" from Guvera? I finally got around to listening to it, and track one, "Ascension (Edition II)", cuts off after about 10 minutes. I want to redownload it, but I'm not sure if the file is messed up…

  • Welcome ddanmar, and thank you. No offense meant earlier, I was just making a Slamball-related joke. :)

    Nice to have you here.
in Guvera Comment by pipher January 2011
  • No Slamball for me either. Well isn't that a kick in the nuts.
in Guvera Comment by pipher January 2011
  • Which channels had new credits available? I'm not seeing any either, on two separate accounts with significantly different channels.
in Guvera Comment by pipher January 2011
  • Finally! My wife got 8 and I got 4. I cashed in on the extremely long (20 - 30 minute) "Album Only" tracks from The Allman Brothers' At Fillmore East, and the "Album Only" tracks from Eric Dolphy Live In Europe Vols 1, 2, and 3.

  • On Facebook, they've stated as recently as Sunday that new ways to get credits should hopefully be live before Christmas. Sounds like something will be happening soon, at least.

  • The question from yesterday has been fixed to say "Day 4". I noticed the error as well, it had me puzzled for a while.
  • I checked in to Guvera today for the first time in a while, and I noticed that I have a new RSA channel - some roller skating thing - with no downloads available. Anyone else see this channel? The free downloads might have expired because I haven't …

  • I am already very happy not being tethered to an emusic subscription any longer. And this will also illustrate why emusic has become completely irrelevant.

In the past day, I have purchased the Bad Books for $2.99 at Amazon, and The Blac…
