I went looking for reviews of this, and was particularly moved by the eloquence of this one:
"Dazzling promotions ture of Alleviated promoting price Bach: Le Clavier bien tempéré, premier livre (The Well-Tempered Clavier, First Book) - Pierre Hantaï online shop, Own terrific sizzling hot a very Bach: Le Clavier bien tempéré, premier livre (The Well-Tempered Clavier, First Book) - Pierre Hantaï relating to sales!!"
I can only agree that it is indeed sizzling hot a very Bach. And I am now "feeling purchase most excellent impose".
Which all goes to show that "Examine recommendations provides a ton more proportionate keeping in mind with the advantages of the thing."
Prof, that's an interesting find. Later editions of the Crusaders were more in the jazz/rock/pop fusion line. I'm less familiar with this era, which sounds more soulful and funky.
I knew nothing about them, but quite enjoyed listening to this one all the way through. I think I liked Freedom Sound better than Lookin Ahead, but it might be that my attention was elsewhere as it went on...
"During the second half of the '40s, Daviswas part of a scene of Detroit jazz players including important vibraphonist Milt Jackson, brilliant tenor saxophonist Wardell Gray, and perilously choppy saxophonist Sonny Stitt. Davis' own trio backed out-of-town stars such as Lester Young, Charlie Parker, and Miles Davis, the latter no family relation....His single album as a leader came out in 1959, a trio session entitled Have Mood, Will Call on the Sue label" (Allmusic)
I also have a ghost of a memory that just before I went on vacation three weeks ago @amclark2 recommended something to me that I either bought or thought I ought to get - could that have been this one too? The search feature is not great on this board.
ETA, found it, yes, it was the same one. So thanks also to amclark2!
