Totally unknown to me, despite the early Ornette connection. Do you know their - I think more famous- album Self Determination Music also on Flying Dutchman / Ace Records? Two more on the SFL!
Beaver (Jonathan Sheppard) fashions low-fi songs with his guitar and pieces of drum kit lying around his
apartment.
Sheppard
evolves through the wide-scale relationships he creates with everyone
and everything in his immediate surroundings. Beaver’s live performances
are epic, intimate, and sincere. He exists supremely in the 'real'
world with the love of fine food, good company, and adventure
Been ripping cds most of the afternoon as part of the "Eternal Project" came across this album which was probably the last thing I got in my great Bobby Hutcherson splurge a couple of years back. Damn fine.

Dead Image - some songs I found online; http://www.deadimage.com/ (this was the local hardcore band from when I was in high school; something brought them to mind and I wondered if I could find any songs...)
A collection of early historic appearances have been tracked down and compiled into a fascinating hour of early Pink Floyd - available for the next 22 days on BBC iPlayer.
Recent used CD pickup - Not sure I would even call it jazz if I wasn't familiar with Espe's previous work. Sounds good. Tricky tunes, sometimes sounds Joni-inspired.
