I was was sorting through my CDs and came across this dusty album, dating back to when I was very first listening to jazz occasionally, possibly my first or second jazz purchase along with a similar one for Dave Brubeck. Yesterday I parked my car, listening to one of the SF Jazz Collective albums, still playing whilst I sorted out a few things. As I got out the person in the next car said "You're a jazzman then" I don't think he could understand my point that I like music of a range of kinds, not just jazz. I certainly don't regard myself as a jazz man!
