The Hallmark label has many great old Jazz records for track pricing (49 cents per track). I think these are all 50 years old or more. My guess is there are remastered versions of most of these now to extend copyrights.
Here are a few that caught my eye (or ear, I suppose).
This strangely beautiful and sometimes clangorous four-movement piano solo is performed by the much-lauded pianist and new music champion Sarah Cahill, who commissioned the work. The composer writes about the piece: Each of the transparent and self-contained movements takes as inspiration a Chinese poem or Japanese haiku ... Each movement is like a single image, simply stated with relatively little temporal or thematic development very much like the poems they are based on."
Ancient Ocean, Titan's Island, $1.99, track one was a "free daily download" a few weeks ago, so it might be more for you.
"Ambitious, grand and by any measure, beautiful; it’s tempting to simply and sincerely soak in the atmosphere of “Titan’s Island,” the second full-length album from Ancient Ocean, the long running ambient project of NYC-via-Kentucky resident J.R. Bohannon. The album unearths the intense process mending the worlds of modern classical, expansive sound art, minimalism, and the usual micro-guitar and synth exploration we’ve come to expect from Bohannon." From the review by Howlin' Wolf Records.

ESP records has many records priced at 99 cents. Lots of older jazz, but also some strange stuff (Holy Modal Rounders live and the infamous Charles Manson). Everything I checked was 99 cents so flip through this bin of odd titles and see what you can find.
Thanks Plong. There are at least two ESP links; at this one, everything is 0.99. This includes new releases, including a couple live sets with Matthew Shipp. Also another album for the growing legion of Talibam! fans. Get 'em while they're there
Tricky - ununiform. Put this in my save for later pile, and when I went to check it today, it was greyed out - unavailable. "Typical," I thought to myself. I then checked Tricky to see what otehr albums were available, when I saw ununiform available from another label - and just 99 cents.
And so on - seems like everything (ETA - with a couple of exceptions) on Dronarivm is now 0.99, even stuff that is ten Euros on bandcamp. May be a temporary thing so snap them up. Including (drum roll...) Pjusk and Sleep Orchestra - Drowning in the Sky (Full review) $0.99
Be sure to listen to a few of these tracks to know what you're getting into though!
I'm letting you guys know this when my subscription is ON HOLD (although it should re-activate in a week or so). Germanprof, good catch on the Dronarivm stuff. Look forward to sampling.
Totally unrelated: Every month Birp.FM has a FREE downloadable playlist of about 75 pop songs. (They keep them online for about 6 months, then expire it). Pretty amazing.
Grammy-winning, positively reviewed complete set of Beethoven sonatas played by Garrick Ohlssen, 11 hours for $6.99. ($54 at Amazon) (Allmusic: "performed with the utmost precision, attention to detail, and clarity -- all hallmarks of Ohlsson's playing")
A few from Bridge Records, there are quite a few double-albums for single prices on less out-there music than Morton Feldman. Might be worth poking around.
