Hi all; haven’t been here in a while, but sometimes you just can’t... hope everybody is well, uncertain times etc. !
This morning I listened to Nimb #61 by Toshimaru Ndakamura from the really excellent Amplify series from Erstwhile Records. I don’t imagine I’m the first to point Amplify out but here it is in case https://amplify2020.bandcamp.com/ (Somewhere there’s a YouTube of Aaron Dilloway’s Chicken Scratch that you have to see; his pet chickens are responsible for most of the sounds)
And then the real reason I hopped on this morning is because I’m listening to Funhouse by the Stooges and I just can’t believe it’s 50 years old, not so much because of the passage of time but because it just doesn’t sound that old, and I couldn’t think of anyone I could say that to except you all here so...
