  • OK, thanks for that. I'm resigning myself to upgrading my 15 year old computer.

I just purchased a new Mac last month.  My previous one was new back in like 2015.  By the end, I was using an unsupported browser b/c the later versions of Firefox wouldn't work with my OS (Sierra?  Mountain Lion?  Something old.) and iTunes and other apps wouldn't update anymore.  There was a lot of basic functionality that stopped working for me.  I don't think I was ever unable to drag & drop, but it was a lot of stuff like that I couldn't do anymore.
At some point, you' re left with no choice but to upgrade.

Looks ok. And playing right now Mark McGuire - Ideas of Beginings

I usually cut and paste from another tab open in Firefox brouser rather than using links from Chrome which I recall used to give me headaches.

  • Yeah, I understand, but it's just been a thing only in the last few days.
I can drag from my desktop to the comment space at other discussion boards
(and, until a few days ago, here too), but that's no longer the case.

Yes, being in El Capitan makes things a bit more difficult in some instances,
but dragging a dropping is a prob here only very recently.
Oh well. Maybe it was the recent update.
  • Here's the Mark McGuire pic from above:
