Goldfrapp isn't making my list (some great songs, but not a great overall album). Jenny Wilson totally should, except this album technically came out in '09. I hate when US release dates are more than a year late...
enjoy it now before the bogus backlash begins. man that wordless chorus after the "can we get much higher" line in the opening song is breathtaking. and, of course, runaway; my favorite song of the year -- i even love the extended, rock-ish coda at the end of the song (which i think some people have seized on as bloated and self-indulgent).
