- The cover was corrupted when I grabbed it. I asked CS for permission to redownload and got 5,99 euros added to my account.
- Not a bad deal since I pay per track and it's 2 tracks = 0.99 euros.
@ greg - I was just listening to my new remastered white album this morning - the remaster sounds great! I haven't enjoyed the white album so much since I first purchased a $2 used vinyl copy back around '93. Thanks itunes for getting the Beatles in mp3 so that amazon decided to cell the cd's for so cheap!
Nice synth poppy stuff- reminds in some ways of the Silver Apples - free.
For the record, I don't think amclark2 should get credit for posting the same thing here and in the Bandcamp Goodies thread. Is there anyway we can make sure his post count only goes up by one when he does that? :P
more to come. I did a run this weekend, but they're interspersed with things I recognize, otherwise I'd never know what I was listening to on my ipod shuffles.
This one is special, but not sure how to describe it. Maybe Bon Iver, Julianna Barwick and Pygmalion era Slowdive all in a room, with Fennesz producing. Free.
Today mostly listening in my truck to a playlist on my iPod. It's about 500 Christmas songs that I haven't rated yet. I've got it on shuffle and it kicks the pants off the " 'round the clock Christmas" radio stations (I can get one out of DC and another out of Baltimore). All duly scrobbled, of course.
amclark2 - totally agree with your comment about Beatles reissues. My wife thought I was utterly mad buying CDs when I had already got them on LP and CD!
The feisty and experimental duo Horses Brawl draw listeners into a world where driving folk rhythms collide with the high and low musical cultures of ancient Europe and beyond. Improvising around phrases and fragments of music drawn from over eight centuries they transform them into their own mesmerising and spellbinding compositions.
Crossing many genres including folk, baroque, renaissance and contemporary music, Horses Brawl are equally at home playing at folk clubs, concerts and festivals. Performing with an open and engaging stage manner they invite you into their vibrant and exciting musical world

Super duper album, BTW.
I've gone back to listening to The Beatles!
This band is one of my favorite finds this year.
$9.49 on Amazon, $5.49 on eMu, or $2 with a little help from Guvera.
So very good.

One of my favorite new jazz albums this year. This had been a great track-priced bargain on eMu, but now it's much cheaper at Amazon ($7 vs $12).
elwood, thanks for the reminder on Tabu Ley, I want to check into that one.
Nice lo-fi indie rock. Free.

Nice find.
Right now I want to float on my back in that water. I'm cold and tired of wrangling with recalcitrant servers and code.

And Panda Bear on drums.
