OK, thanks for that. I'm resigning myself to upgrading my 15 year old computer.
I just purchased a new Mac last month. My previous one was new back in like 2015. By the end, I was using an unsupported browser b/c the later versions of Firefox wouldn't work with my OS (Sierra? Mountain Lion? Something old.) and iTunes and other apps wouldn't update anymore. There was a lot of basic functionality that stopped working for me. I don't think I was ever unable to drag & drop, but it was a lot of stuff like that I couldn't do anymore.
At some point, you' re left with no choice but to upgrade.
Yeah, I understand, but it's just been a thing only in the last few days. I can drag from my desktop to the comment space at other discussion boards (and, until a few days ago, here too), but that's no longer the case.
Yes, being in El Capitan makes things a bit more difficult in some instances, but dragging a dropping is a prob here only very recently. Oh well. Maybe it was the recent update.
The Stranger - The Stranger & The Stranger - Bleaklow
Two albums by Leyland Kirby under one of his many alias's - And Leyland Kirby must be one too considering it;s just two town names stuck together.
Anyway fairly bleak soundscapes while I otherwise listen to a gardner we've hired to hack back assorted trees and bushes in the garden on a suitably chill foggy rainy day. Said gardner was up at 3 a.m. gritting roads for the last two days while we wondered why he was late starting the job. As an ex Londoner I forget sometimes that quite a few islanders hold down two or more jobs.
I was reminded of this album the other day, a good latter day effort from the boys. I was wondering if my copy was one of the few bits of vinyl that survived the final cull before the trip to Orkney. Nice to hear Morning Bell with its line "the shit behind the teeth" what could they mean? I think this is the US cover, which I'm sure was as my copy rather than the more distincy UK cover.
Oh, good! Glad you like it. I just kinda stumbled across it and listened to a few things here and there and figured that a pound was a more than reasonable price. 🤪
I'm guessing that my picture problem may have to do with an old browser that I can't update anymore, but I did get a new computer (after 15 years) that's in a box on my office floor. I'm having to rethink my setup completely, so it'll be hooked up probably later this week and ready for '25.

I too have a new laptop that I solomly promised would become my main machine. I've loaded a few programmes and used it for writing one zine but that's all in over three months.
I must ask though did you actually take them up on the complete catalogue offer? I just baulked at the idea of downloading 77 more albums despite the killer deal.

I've never owned or used a laptop (no cellphone either). I much prefer having a set space to work on things with no portability. I now have to contend with the loss of my 4 storage drawers that have been so great to have on my Mac tower ... plus, I'm losing two disc drives where I'm still continually uploading CDs to iTunes (which, I guess will now be called "Apple Music"). So, now, I've had to deal with buying things like hubs and dongles and SSD "sticks" and enclosures and... Instead of buying the latest (which I usually do and then use it forever), I went with the M2 chip instead of the M4 because I have a 30" Cinema Display that I love (and I just bought it three years ago after my 20+ year old monitor finally gave out), and I don't think anyone's figured out yet how to hook it up to an M4 Mac. I need a special dongle for the M2 as it is now! My machine still works fine mechanically, but browsers are giving me the finger and now my email is giving out on me, so I'm forced to make the move even tho I'm often cleaning up my drives of any lingering "dirt."
As for full label stuff, I do that pretty often (adds to why I just passed the 2 million tunes mark on my iTunes). I think my largest haul was buying all of Noël Akchoté's stuff on his label which was almost 600 titles at once (over 10,000 tunes!). Buying 100+ titles at a time has happened quite often here.
Some labels, for me, just hit the right spots sometimes. A few: you have to jump around and check out a dozen different albums ... some labels, you just know where they're coming from because you've been to their "house" many times and others just instantly push all the right buttons. All of it becomes part of the personal radio station that runs here at home (while others end up on the actual radio station in New Mexico).
"When River Flows Reverse" a Post Rock style album by Hungarian band River Flows Reverse from the excellent Psychedelic Source Records label recommended by @rostasi.
Following is one of the best tracks on the album - "At the Gates of the Perennial"

The label itself is quite good and you get 77 releases for a super low price of £1
