I agree with both comments GP. I wish I had half the skill with art, and it is great that all of us want to comment on this board so much. It is what makes it more than just a message board, becoming an on-line community. Now if you really want to be bored with this board I could put up last year's holiday photos??
Hmm. Depends on the photos :-). Seriously, I think that this tangential stuff (artwork, commentary on the virtues of female Applebees users, Amazon's non-provision of restrooms, one-armed drummers, etc) is part of what helps this board not devolve into just being a long list of album titles and stay more like a conversation. And the more I look at it, I really, really like the four horsemen.
Thanks. Sometimes something doesn't come out the way I want it to, and I don't like it. Then I come back to it later and I really do like it - this was one of those.
@GP - I've no intention of inflicting (which is what it would be in my case) my holiday photos on anyone! I think it is great that we have developed into an on-line community that can discuss thngs away from the core remit of emusic related discussion

That seems to me like a kind of basic condition of any creative activity at one point or another (everything I write sounds so much better in my head). There's a real grace when it turns out not to be permanent.

greg: If you skip to when everyone's had a few drinks the xmas photos should be fine. I suggest you post them in Spiritual.
I agree with Germanprof about tangential stuff. There are many other places to discuss music but I don't check any of them every day.
