- "For fifty-five minutes the great American composer Morton Feldmann weaves his tapestry of sounds, a pattern always the same and yet never the same, an iridescent, thick fabric, full of details, although these never distract the listener's attention. Feldman met Beckett only once in his life (though Beckett later sent him a postcard on which the composer discovered the text for his opera Neither). He created music of a beguiling tonality and beauty, inspired more by painting and literature than by the history of music."

What a lot to catch up on after nearly a week away in snowy Edinburgh. Yes I used to like Sky too GP, I even went to see them play a couple of times, at least once in Nottingham. I'm trying to remember the name of the tuba player, it could have been Frances Monkman?
Currently playing Beatles White Album as that is the nearest to hand for the CD player!
Listening to it on Spotify. I don't think I like this album as much as the album before that is a fun pop list. The intro track is quite over the top, if Queen copy and there is a bit of auto tuning here and there on the album.
@Choice..." I don't think I like this album as much as the album before" I agree, I listened to a soundcloud version, the auto-tune was quite annoying. Rather than pop for a vinyl copy, I'll wait for a cheap Amazon Deal of the Day. I thought the first album sounded like Queen and ELO had a love child, but not like that is a bad thing.
OK, I think that's enough Koji for now, though there are a few more. Didn't like it all equally but there are some really nice drone pieces in there. Noticeable growth in the recent ones. "Luck" was very nice for reading to. And the title track on "Music" is excellent.

In the Civil Wars mode, but with more of a backporch feel. $10 though?
ETA: The songs are really cool--lots of stuff on domestic un-bliss.
River Whyless, quite enjoyable neo-folk. Thanks @BN!

Thanks Jonah
Picked this up from 7Digital last year during their Advent Sale. Weird and catchy. I need to check out his other stuff.
It is 1975 where I am...Internet connections are atrocious
Sidi Yassir - Ajeeb! Searching the sufi tag on Bandcamp, found this sufi-tinged gem.
