Yes Lowlife, it is great for a few days - it should, of course, have been Bank Holiday weekend coming up - wait, my prediction is that it will rain for the Jubilee Weekend!
That would be typical Greg but I am just enjoying it while I can.
Some more summer music from the pen of Thom Carter, this is another one of his projects which has a very relaxed vibe, I cant remember if I posted this before but here are the links, it is free from the Test Tube netlabel.
I agree about enjoying it - I'm planning to spend the afternoon gardening to be outside whilst it is so nice. Thanks for the link - downloading at this very moment.
Been working very hard on the garden, really looking good this year. A real pain to water as we cant use our hosepipe spent about an hour out there last night trying to get everything looking good.
Dug this one out not heard in ages, the joys of being on E Music hold means I am digging into the dark areas of my music collection.
Yes Lowlife, we have two water butts that were overflowing three weeks ago, now nearly empty, so will double the time to water everything! But I am notcomplaining as I'd rather have the nice weather.
The last time I was in England was during the Golden Jubilee, so it bums me out that this year is the Diamond. That means it has been 10 years since I was last in London!
The Deeep - Life Light
I missed this when it came out last year, but am so glad I found it now. It's mellow, minimal synths backing gorgeous female vocals. The label is Not Not Fun, so that should give you some idea of its sound. So good.
You are welcome back anytime you like Craig! Mind you it is now 12 years since I wast last in New York and Boston, so I certainly can't comment. Next year the West Coast!! My stepson is on his third trans Atlantic trip in six months on Saturday - envy!
As it is a great summer's day here (hottest of the year so far) I'm linking West Coast to 'summer music'

Sex Worker - The Labor of Love
Not nearly as into this one (also on Not Not Fun), although it does have some interesting ideas.

but i just don't feel the music. like a lot of stuff i've heard these days, it doesn't excite, repel or capture attention.
but i want to like this band!
This I like:
Prinzhorn Dance School - Clay Class
Post punk from DFA. James Murphy knows what he's doing with post punk bands, that's for damn sure.

This one's only 42 minutes.
Happy birthday to Mr. Zimmerman, my favorite song-and-dance man.
I haven't listened to this album in a long time. I forgot how fun it is.
