Downloaded and playing, thanks Greg is this really good, if I get some time I wil look at the rest of the site seems lots of stuff to see. BTW did you see the programme on John Cooper Clark last night, if not it is on the BBC i player. One of the best docs I have seen on music for a long time and one of the funniest
Thanks Lowlife, no I didn't as I was out, but I will check it out on iplayer. It'll teach me to look to see what is on - I should have put it on Sky Plus.
for some reason, i thought the "free-music" thread was only about the odd item that was free on emusic. now i see there's a lot of interesting titles there, free on other sites like bandcamp.
OK, after sections of several Björk albums and part of Neutral Milk Hotel's oft-mentioned opus (I guess you had to be there) that's enough 'find out what the fuss was about' listening for now.
Finally, getting to the paperwork part of the day where I can listen to this too! @Elwood and amclark, who were they listening to? The Doors...Stones...Jefferson Airplane? I'm hearing something I can't quite put my finger on.
For those who haven't seen this, the reissue label Now Again is offering a subscription membership that is quite the deal, at least for the first month. Cheers to elwood for pointing this out!
Having downloaded Asa's free album yesterday, I searched to see if she had any other recordings. This is her first album, available on emusic in the UK. Interestingly, emusic here does not have her second album.

-"Reissue of a long out-of-print EP from composer Aaron Siegel featuring two drone-based compositions for homemade synthesizer."
Thanks Greg!
