You should definitely wait till you get here to tell me that. "I just drove here all the way from Minnesota to tell you you're a loser" is a wicked burn.
amc - That is a pretty wicked burn. Or I could just stand you up and send you picture of me at the Darkside show with a note that says "Glad you're not here, Loser!" You'd be devastated. It would be awesome.
So, my wife and I have our house cleaned once every couple of weeks and the company we use employs local artists who need a part time job to bring in some money while leaving them time to do their art. To date, our cleaners have been purely visual artists, but starting Monday we have a new guy and he's in this band. I already own a couple of tracks (synthy experimental, they released some stuff on Not Not Fun, and if you're at all familiar with the label they fit right in), but figured I should listen to a little more! The band is also a transplant here from Iowa City, where I lived for 7 years. Small world.
ETA: This album is much more post punk than the stuff I actually own of theirs.

(Should I tell him, I didn't want to go with him anyway? He's such a loser.)

Possibly working on a "favorite albums from 2013" post. On my blog. Really, it's a thing.
