A Christmas Gift To You From Phil Spector

Does anybody else find it weird that Christmas music appears on November 1, but has to be gone by January 2?

Eta: but it does feel kinda weird to be listening to it now. I guess Christmas is just like that; it's an anticipation thing. Once the present's opened, it's passed.
  •
    (aka. Manual)
  • George Harrison - All Things Must Pass (more Phil Spector..)

    then

    Elysia Crampton - American Drift
  • I just had "Wah Wah" come up in a playlist yesterday, and cranked it up good + loud...What a tune, what a recording, what a 'f*** off' song

  • - After a short break, listening to Wah Wah, continuing with:

You Us We All album cover

Shara Worden, Andrew Ondrejcak, BOX  - You Us We All

  • Led Zeppelin - In Through the Out Door
  • Blue Moon cover art

    NYOP Bandcamp

  • Listening to Brighternow's link to David Bowie's Blackstar.

Lowlife - we've got tickets to see your team on Sunday. My wife's family all support Spurs and she has never seen them play live, so i was able to get tickets for the cup game. In theory it should be good - 2nd against 4th, but it depends who plays. Vardy appears to be out injured. I hope we see Harry Kane play along with Delle Ali (although I've seen him plays lots at MK Dons)

  • Enjoy the day should be a good one, if you are having a drink before the game go to The Antwerp Arms, it is owned by share holding supporters and has a good range of beers. I will be joining the hard core supporters known as Les Miserable in my pub which is less than 3 miles ways

  • - You are Welcome . . .

@Nereffid and everyone with just a tiny bit interest in classical should really listen to the last track on this. - More moving and breathtaking vocals (Barbara Hannigan) is hard to find:

     Q2 album of the week:
Hans Abrahamsens Let Me Tell You
    - On Winter & Winter.
  • Barbara's a real professional. I remember her fondly from my days of study with Stockhausen
Some photos from 2004 with Stockhausen and Marco Blaauw:

then dipped into Wah Wah and Barbara Hannigan, now:

    Eidos
  • Still working on that Floating Points/Four Tet - now almost 4 hours in! (Out of 6). It's a fun mix; really all over the place.
