I've had a very successful morning buying CDs. I went into a charity shop and bought two Madeleine Peyroux CDs. Then I went into a (small) HMV store, where I saw a boxed set of 20 Miles Davis CDs for £14.99, which of course I could not resist, even though I've get 4 or 5 already. They are on Sony so provenance/quality should be OK. Normally if I see 20 jazz CDs in there in total I think I'm doing well!
I've started with Seven Steps to Heaven as that is an album I don't know. If anyone in the UK is interested HMV do have it on their website for £14.99.

From the same year/month as that Springsteen show I posted before; this one is from the night before the Fox Theater show in Atlanta that became Dave's Picks 8.
Ok, I think I must have heard of the Sugar one; although not Over the Rhine. Glad somebody thinks along the same lame lines I do.
I have to admit I was a bit wary of this. I am a huge fan of Nils Frahm doing delicate piano work, but have not always loved his other experiments. This, however, is wonderful - deep and atmospheric.

Wow; 20 Columbia Miles Davis albums is a great find at that price!
Old favorite. Prof, if you have never come across this one, you would probably enjoy
