Set from Tony Conrad's performance on 9/13/2009, which also featured art
historian Brandon Joseph reading from his new book, Beyond the Dream
Syndicate.
Even more contemporary jazz "gospel." I think this was BitW's album of the year a couple years ago.
I'd say go ahead and play the following song at my funeral, except I'm not sure the family can handle the existential terror. On second thought, bring it on...
ps - Great guitar. I really enjoyed this 3 track EP. I also have a soft spot for steel guitar too! Not sure about the cover, haven't heard the original. Plus, it made me think of my country roots and how much Merle was a big part of that. He's sadly missed.
Well, I see that I'm getting into some music that has been played in the rotation last fall. Time for a full listen.
(feat. Christian Fennesz, Richard Pinhas, Rhys Chatham, Frédéric D. Oberland)
Bérangère Maximin voice, guitar, laptop, various objects featuring Rhys Chatham trumpet (6), Christian Fennesz guitar (3,5), Frédéric D. Oberland guitar (1) and Richard Pinhas guitar (4). Credits from bandcamp
ps That was great way to ease into this morning. Now, it's time to hit the rotation and head for the garden. I've got some Peonies to move & split and then there's the lawn to rake. It's currently -3 C but there's blue sky. lastfm rotation
The National Road by Bark Hide & Horn. (Why you no use commas?) Loved this album enough to track down a hard copy. A pity they never followed this album with more work.
A vinyl release of C86 is supposed to be one of the things out there for Record Store Day; which seems incredibly silly to me. I think my bootlegged MP3 version is more in the spirit of what the original tape intended.

@amclark2 - Thanks for reminding me of this. I saw last week that it was coming out, but it had slipped my mind.
