Also - Yer welcome & thanks for pointing out the newer Inward Circles. I've really enjoyed most of his work so far & as I'm pretty patient, I don't mind waiting till it gets to emusic.
"Lost Trail...conceal angels in the gutter, wounded with broken wings
and lost opportunities waiting to be found. The gorgeous ambience bleeds
a thin trace of musical melancholia, although it is never overt; she
breathes quietly, a shushed town in a state of constant flux."
(Anathema - Pulled Under at 2,000 Metres a Second)
"Two different temperaments, the same background – this observation was the basis of the idea of inviting eRikm and Fennesz to form a duo for the first time. A few days before the duo premiered at the Donaueschinger Musiktage 2003 the musicians met in the SWR studio to try out strategies for playing together. This CD captures the two best takes from these studio sessions along with the recording of the festival concert, which lasted about forty minutes. Although they are much more abstract than the rock-like Donaueschinger concert, the studio takes reveal most strikingly that the new duo is united in inner harmony." - hatOLOGY
ETA - ok, this will be the third time I've tried to finish track 5. I'm pretty sure it happened on track 4 as well but, both other times in the last minute, I'm sure it's Andy Partridge popping up with a chorus and then coming back with something else. I rebooted the computer and redownloaded that track from my emusic folder to see what happens.
Never mind, works just fine. -always
Ps Aw, Crap! now it's happening on track 6, Darned Computers!!! I'll have to give this a go at another time. It's been terrific so far, except for the last minutes when Andy shows up. More sadness...I really love listening to Andy.
Thanks, Doofy. Seems like I'm buying your playlist this week. ETA, I'm liking (should that be "digging"?) this, but turning 'Jesus Christ Superstar' back into music in my head is a tall order.
Well, I just couldn't get Continuous Beat to behave. After all the deleting and re-adding it appears the last 20 secs of each track (not including 1 & 5) changes to a random track that plays on after the meter has stopped, then switches to the next track. I'm pretty sure this comes from emusic so I'll get a hold of them to make it right. Meanwhile, I'll give this a go.
