I was just thinking that this has not been the best year for ambient releases so far. It might be that I have been paying closer attention to other genres, but I can;t think of many outstanding titles so far this year.
Stefano Bollani Trio - I'm In the Mood for Love, a very enjoyable piano trio album that appears to have been released twice with different covers, both terrible. Poor Stefano.

ETA Decided to buy my emusic balance down to 8 cents and go on hold for a few months. Thanks to all the booster pack sales, refunds, cheap box sets and a birthday my "never played" smart playlist has over 8GB of music on it. I need some catch up time.
A bootleg comp I managed to dig up after seeing Luddite mention AC's cover of Van Halen's "Jump"; it's got that, and it's pretty great. Also a great cover of "True Colors". Enjoying very much; I need to look into this band a little more.
