For one of the last CDs in the Book of Angels series Zorn has put together an astonishing all-star piano trio featuring three of the most powerful and respected musicians in the jazz/new music scene: Craig Taborn, Christian McBride and Tyshawn Sorey. Diving into eight tunes from Zorn’s mystical Masada project they take off in flights of melodic, rhythmic and harmonic fancy that will make your head spin. Visceral and virtuosic, Flaga is one of the most spontaneous and exciting installments in the Masada catalog.

- "Classical influence. Tzadik isn't a jazz label, per se. Not sure the
label cares if they ever release anything that sounds like jazz as long
as it falls in their wheelhouse for creativity. Some albums of the more
experimental recordings fall along those lines. Go check out "Femina."
It's one of my favorites from this area. Huge amounts of dissonance,
classical and electronic elements. Sometimes the dissonance is a roar,
sometimes a whisper. And then there's those moments it all comes
together in a melodic confluence, and the dissonance fades away and
enters a catchy cadence and a thick melody and beautiful harmonies...
before re-entering a state of chaos and beginning the cycle all over
again. Addictive stuff."
Wadada lee Smith, Ten Freedom Summers (4CDs) is also single album priced. 19 Tracks and a total length 274:03. I picked this up 7digital.com a few years ago, also single album priced.

Also have a copy of this. It looks to have been one of the daily downloads from "all about jazz" back in 2011.

Just great, and single-disc priced at eMusic US
ETA, this is fabulous. Should have been up in my top 20, if I had listened to it during 2016.
