    Mosaic Select

This music can be had here
Am I correct in thinking that the Mosaic project is over and done? I haven't bought anything in a couple of years. The Select series was especially fine.

  • Mosaic is still coming out with all kinds of goodies.
Their latest is their 264th set: the Savoy Be-Bop Sessions.
Mosaic Selects have stopped for now, but they still
sell them - with OP titles coming back after repressings.
I have all of them (38 boxes) as well as the 20 Mosaic singles.

  • New and NYOP at Bandcamp
  • Markus Reuter - Older Than God

  • John Mayall/Eric Clapton Bluesbreakers

Ah I see it's just that there was almost nothing in the Select part of the shop when I looked. Any recent faves (not select obv.)?
  • Yeah, I see that now over at the site.
There are still quite a few titles available
thru Amazon and you might want to pick
something close to what you're looking for
and maybe it can be streamed at Spotify.
They cover a pretty wide variety of styles.
If the above link doesn't work, just do a
"Mosaic Select" search there. Most are at
    a pretty reasonable price - sometimes a
lower price than the originals were when
    I bought them.

That's a nice subtle version. Have you heard any other Zeitkratzer covers, Metal Machine Music et al?
  • Thanks for that! I am SOOOOOO looking forward to this!
I hope that they do Klingklang - of course, I'm sure that
Ruckzuck will be one as well.

Oh dear. Tzadik got added to emusic, and there was a booster sale, and I have never gotten around to listening to John Zorn, and I am starting to fall down the zornhole. Which is worrying looking at how many releases he has and how much research seems to be involved in understanding how they all relate. So far I know that I like the Nova Express material.
  • Durt album cover

Thanks for this Lowlife. Her earlier album Havisham is available as a free download from Bandcamp if you haven't already got it.
  • Aziza album cover

    Liking this a lot!
