It's still a bit of a mystery to me why different microsound ambient albums that on the surface of things might seem quite similar should connect to such different degrees. 7 years after release I still have this one in regular rotation, and it still sounds amazing to me. Track 5 is one of my favorite things in my whole music collection (especially on good speakers late at night with a glass of wine. Which is not now but one can dream.)
Well, firstly, thanks to @Brighternow for introducing me to Pascal Comelade. I used my Emusic apology dollars to get the reissued Paralelo album. I've really enjoyed everything I've heard that he's been involved with so far which includes the Fall of Saigon and his album with these folks. The Limiñanas
You are welcome . . . And thanks !
I've just found out that there's some gaps in my Pascal Comelade colllection.

Zeitkratzer - Songs Recorded live at Kino Šiška, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Zagreb, Croatia, April 2011.
No Age - a cdr that just said “No Age” on it, that I don’t think was Weirdo Rippers because a different cdr said “No Age Weirdo Rippers” on it and I don’t think was Nouns because I have that on actual CD but anyway it sounded good in the car this morning.
Then Abe Vigoda - Reviver, which I don’t think I ever heard before but I Apple Music’d it because I was thinking about Abe Vigoda; this one sounded so much more like No Age than Abe Vigoda that I thought it was No Age and started to write No Age! Nice; will listen again.
Then was going to listen to the Tender Buttons by Broadcast because pandemics make me think sadly of Trish Keenan, but saw confused playing Person Pitch so now Person Pitch; Tender Buttons later.
Sotirios Stasinopoulos - The Water Runs Uphill: Greek Folk Music in NYC, 1921-25
Sotirios Stasinopoulos was one of the most gifted folk singers to have
recorded in the first half of the 20th century and one of the most
vibrant Greek singers to ever have recorded. . . .
Polish Radio Experimental Studio(PRES) is the first official series of
CD releases dedicated to the music produced in the legendary Studio.
Established in 1957 by Józef Patkowski, it was among the first
institutions of that kind in the world with only Paris, Cologne and
Milano preceding the Warsaw one. Despite that, unlike their foreign
colleagues who quickly became the most important figures of the XX
century music, Polish composers working in the Studio are known only to a
limited number of insiders. Yet, as Reinhold Friedl, leader of
zeitkratzer points out, "the pieces give the impression of an artistic
approach which has never been as strict or ideologically restricted as
German electronic music or French concrete music. It seems to me that
none of the musicians connected with this studio have had the tendency
to limit him/herself to "electroacoustic music", rather they all have a
natural and holistic approach to composing". This is why the releases
give us opportunity to revisit our historical ideas of XX century music
with a fresh and inspiring insight. . . .
- released March 8, 2020
Zeitkratzer seems to be busy uploading new and old stuff to Bandcamp:
Sad to see that Martin Davorin-Jagodić has died. This album got a LOT of play - especially as a "bedroom" album for sleep during my high school years in the 70s.
I spent most of the past week cancelling a conference and another faculty event and an itinerary that would have taken me through 5 countries in the next week, and on Wednesday my university cancelled all face to face classes and is currently working on the feat of instantly moving online. I wonder why this title caught my eye as I was selecting my breakfast listening :-)

Thank you.
These dramatic current events seems to bring out the worst and and the best in the human nature
15 minutes after our primeminister told us about all the precautions and ensured us that there was no need to worry about supply of food and daily supplies, and used the example "like bread and toiletpaper" . . . people rushed to the supermarked to buy . . . bread and toiletpaper.
- There has been reports about people fighting for the last rolls.
- On the other end of the scale, there's help groups popping up, offering their help to go shopping, looking after children and those kind of things.
