"Imagine Christian Vander and Pierre Henry collaborating on a lost
masterpiece when they were both at the peaks of their powers…..Imagine
the master tape turning up in Chile..Imagine it’s reputation preceded it
and turned out to be EVEN BETTER……Un Festin Sagital is a group I’d
never heard of before, but I reckon I’ll spend the next few years
hearing them again and again such is the depth of this debut."
Well, I'd also like to welcome @dtoub and thank you for your generosity. My iTunes tells me the last time I played darfur pogrommen was August 2017 and has had 9 plays according to lastfm. I've really enjoyed the listens and look forward to hearing the new additions. David Toub
Much appreciated! Thanks very much. Lots more to come.
You're most welcome and I'm very happy to add the new ones to the library! Now, a shorty to start off this riff-tastic morning... Eleuteria 2020 In My Chest
Ps- Short but very sweet, Thanks to @Brighternow for the heads up!
The engraving work on this vinyl is amazing to say the least, don’t know
what have taken most time to make, the music or the engraving, but I
have never seen anything quite like it. The double picture disc vinyl is
a vinyl version of the Narc Beacon cd from 2001 with a different track
list and a few other songs, if you can call instrumental music for
songs. Here we find all the old Goodiepal synonyms and friends and it’s
with great pleasure that the Gamers In Exile are present here . . .
Excellent Polish prog in the Kansas tradition (violin, flute, solid guitar riffs). The best thing I have stumbled across on eMusic in ages. Here is a bandcamp link for streaming. On GAD Records (Sosnowiec, Poland), home to several SBB albums.
From Bandcamp:
Cytrus band has made its way into the history of the Polish rock not
only as one of the most interesting groups of the 1980s, but also as one
of the most unlucky ones: during their existence none of their work was
released, even a single. This is a pity, because they proved to be
excellent in their instrumental incarnations, and, later on, in their
hard rock version, with Kazimierz Barlasz as the lead singer.
1992 Unplugged Ps- I just wanted to add that since it's been a long time since I've played these I'm glad that got to hear them again. It's reminded me how much I enjoyed the the early years.
