Back from holiday - catching up on missed holidays and using vouchers from the last two years, this time the Isle of Wight, very warm!!
THanks Rostasi for the Blowing Free album. I rmember most of those bands, even saw many of them paly around then. I will certainly follow it up. I'll also follow yje Ambient Jazz Ensemble from Lowlife above too. Now playing
That's a nice album, of course I spent lockdowns doing the same local walks in SE London. However my first London address was just a couple of streets away from one of the places mentioned in the track titles. Small world etc. Thanks @rostasi for the BC link.

AMG says "Following the collapse of the second version of the Mahavishnu Orchestra in 1975, McLaughlin put together Shakti, an outfit dedicated to fusing high-energy jazz and Indian music. In addition to McLaughlin (who played acoustic guitar instead of his customary electric), Shakti featured violinist Lakshminarayana Shankar, tabla player Zakir Hussain, and mridangam players T.H. "Vikku" Vinayakram and Ramnad V. Raghavan."
