I'd forgotten how good Humble Pie was. As AMG says "British hard rock supergroup with a turbocharged version of the blues that proved influential to many rock and metal bands."
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead 1998 s/t album and their groundbreaking 2002 album "Source Tags & Codes".
Saw them live at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne in 2013 and they were outstanding.
AMG says "An unlikely but powerful combination of punk fury and prog rock ambition, ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead are fiery iconoclasts who gradually refined their attack without losing any of their passion.".
"Turn On the Bright Lights" the 2002 first album by Interpol
AMG says "Enduring post-punk revivalists updating the moody sounds of Joy Division, the Chameleons, and the Smiths for the 21st century.........emerging in the early 2000s, Interpol have occupied a unique space within indie rock.....they -- along with the Strokes and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs -- led New York City's turn-of-the-century rock revival,"

Day 41:
The 1970 s/t album is a great place to start.

I hadn't come across either of them and they are both great!
Funnily enough, "Wakan Tanka" is available for US$1.74 on ZDigital, the Australian equivalent of 7Digital.

One of the members of the band was Jeremy DeVine, the founder of Temporary Residence records.
AMG says "The consistently brilliant Sonna does it again with Smile and the World Smiles With You, a lush masterpiece of epic indie rock".
Thanks for the reminder, a really great album I'd not listened to nearly enough.
