elwood - I'm utterly confused by what is going on on that album cover. Has that woman had a mastectomy? Or am I just really mistaken as to what I'm looking at.

Naah, if she'd had a mastectomy or breast-reduction surgery there'd be bruising and discoloration, maybe even scarring. My guess is she's been dating this guy:
...and neither of them has had a chance to take a shower and get dressed, which I suppose is perfectly understandable.
There's actually a better rendition of the cover, along with some discussion about it amongst Les Voix Baroques fans here, but I refuse to be held responsible for anyone who chooses to click on any of the "download" links.
Ergo Phizmiz - Arff & Beef - (wombnet March 26th, 2010) Arff & Beef is a collection of Ergos remarkable interpretations of some well known contemporary songs, and his reworking of the entire Velvet Underground album White Light White Heat. This was originally released in 2007 as a numbered cdr issue of 100, which sold out almost immeadiately. Unavailable since then, here it is now, complete and free."
Thanks Dr. Mutex, the "I'm a Surviver" cover is priceless !
- This is maybe more crazy than Renaldo & the Loaf (if that's possible).
From a recommendation the Weedtemple blog: "Is Dead" by Brown Bread. A little child-like whimsy, a little OMD, a little Barswick, a lot of reverb. Free a MediaFire.

Brand new, first listen! Good deal at eMu
Keeping it simple this Friday afternoon.
@elwoodicious - I have a new favorite album cover.
Makunouchi Bento - Silly Conductor (link is to download site)
Liking this a lot more than I thought I would - reminds me more of the old dancey moby I liked than of the poppy singing moby that bored me.
On an unrelated note, everyone should check out this on McSweeney's. (credit to anose at emu.)

Thanks, jonahpwll, nice mellow end to a Friday afternoon at the office.
