From the Netlabel: "The spiralling deep electronics of "Wreath", celebrating the vitality of life, is the sensual starting step of this release composed by four small pieces from Anastasia Vronski. She has several pieces released on this and other net labels but none so short as the awakener "Empty Town" where a special light is reflected in a glimpse with endless possibilities, it becomes our own reflection. A lonely siren wails when "Everything is Lost" and there is nothing more we can do than to reconcile the sorrow of death with the happiness of life while "The Horse" is dying, tired of life but not dead yet, he walks away to his own solitary fate, leaving a trail of blood in the snow path."
Here in the USA we've been aware for some time that the internet is just a series of tubes, so if they're spaghetti noodles they should fit in there pretty easily.
Near And Faraway by Fabio Orsi & Seaworthy
:-) No need for noodles now. Just bought this - very nice indeed.
Brighternow, I know you enjoy this one. After a listen I am thinking you would also like this:
Germanprof . . .
The eMu version is currently N/A and Amazon is constantly N/A in Denmark, even the UK and German version but it does sound great. (thanky !)
I had to complete PANDORAS.BOX's Monomeet EP from Clinical Archives with the tracks from the LP @ Emusic (exept disc 2):
Does Boomkat sell to Denmark? (I use it from the US to plug gaps in availability at other sites). Not sure why the emu version has gone awol - that's where I got it but it's showing unavailable there for me too. It's a very nice album.
Off to Australia in the morning to lecture for a couple of days, so will not be around a lot this week. Will do lots of listening though.
I got to see Mostly Other People Do the Killing live last Thursday; what a mindblowingly incredible show. Highly recommend anybody who has the chance to see them live do so. Picked this up at the show. Kicked myself a bit for not getting more by them by Amie when it was cheap.
Bip-Hop Generation Vol. 7 by Various Artists - Bip Hop
Amie buy. (Hmm, sounds like a gaggle of single-celled organisms). Falls mostly in that area of electronic instrumental music that is somewhat experimental but mostly has a beat and/or tune. I tend to listen to compilations rarely, and this one was purchased because it was cheap and I recognized some names and then it was left to languish. Turns out it has some really nice stuff on it - a happy find from the hard drive. (And I agree with the all music review - the less well-known names have some of the better tracks.)

From eMu, sounds great. Lame 3.98, 200+ VBR
I've listened almost exclusively to The Monitor over the last year, so it's almost like getting a new Titus album to listen to this one again.

This is the craziest damn album. I always decide I don't like it that much, and that I should take it off my iPod, and then it comes back at me again.
@plong, I have one of the two Milt/Ray albums, it's a fave. Have had the remaining tracks on my S4L forever, should pick 'em up this month.
@amclark, I need to get up to speed with MOPDTK. What do you think, Forty Fort or Shamokin?
