Doofy, Shamokin!!!, I'd say. Of the MOPDTK album completists I've come in contact with, Forty Fort seems to get the least love. I'd get Shamokin!!! and This Is Our Moosic first.
Welcome back greg! I was wondering where you'd gone.
@Doofy/kargatron: I was going to say Forty Fort, out of the two. But I've had Shamokin for a while, and had a hard time getting into it; my love for Forty Fort could be because I just got it, and just saw them live. I need to revisit Shamokin; I doubt that either would disapoint.
Ah, White Rainbows and Ethiopiques - 2 things I need more of in my library. For now I'm listening to some free mp3s from The Social Registry. Gonna get me some Zs' LPs and wondering if I should order anything else from them.
Woke up with "I Was Made For Sunny Days" going through my head, for no really good reason. Maybe because this is a typical late April day in SW Michigan.
@amclark - thanks, we went to Sicily to get some sun - the weather was fine, but UK had a heat wave so it was much warmer at home! It's a great place but the drivers are utterly mad
Just had a first - I clicked in one web site for an image around the right size - but my virus scanner stopped it as there was a threat. This image is from a much more reliable site
It's still not my usual cup of tea, but it's a very pretty record and the cover art is also nice (though not necessarily "pretty," I suppose). It's a bit more like hot cocoa than tea, actually. Creamy and sugary, with a bit of foam floating at the top.

So much to catch up on here after two weeks away!
Prompted by another thread here!

Scales by Mythical Beast; nice slow doomy psych rock.
Then:
A very nice folk album.

Sound bytes really have me interested in this one. I'm currently listening to an NPR show about them:

I love this album so much.
Another Amie thing; I think this was rec'd by Jonah a long, long time ago. It's really very good.
